Holley MargaretHOLLEY, Margaret (nee ROOS)   -  Passed away peacefully, on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the age of 95.

Beloved wife of the late Mike Holley.

Proud mother of Robert (Barb), Daryl (Peter) and Ted (Donna).

Doting grandmother to Greg (Ardith), Kate (Adriana) and Erin (Ashley), and G.G. to Katie and Maegan.

Predeceased by her parents Ed and Frankie Roos and brother Bob.

Marg will be fondly remembered by family and a wide circle of people whose lives she has touched.

Margaret was born in Mount Forest, Ontario, educated at Trinity College, University of Toronto, and lived for most of her life in Whitby, Ontario.

A lifelong educator, engaged community member, welcoming neighbour and reliable friend, Marg's door was always open, her guest room was always available and the coffee pot was always on.

She will be remembered for her warmth, kind words and kind deeds, but most of all for the helping hand that was always extended.

A Celebration of Life for Margaret Gail Holley will be held on Monday, June 20th from 3-6pm, in the Upper Hall of St, Mark’s United Church, 201 Centre St. S, Whitby, Ontario, with the sharing of stories and prayers at 4:30pm.
