McGowan KennethMcGOWAN, Kenneth S. –  September 20, 1942 – January 19, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of Ken who is survived by his wife of 56 years Carol and the GREATEST father to Kenneth “Paul” (Janice), Lisa and Michael (Kim).

Ken was also the GREATEST Papa to Kenny (Sheila), David, Sarah and Jessica.

His unconditional love and support to his grandkids will be cherished forever.

Ken was predeceased by his parents Minnie and Arthur and brothers Billy and Howard. As well as his in-laws Cesarino and Rina Moro.

Ken was a hard-working, strong-willed man who was very protective of his wife and kids and made family his priority in life. The many family trips to Sundridge, Pikes Bay and Boyd Park were always a favourite time for Ken.

He coached his two sons’ many hockey teams and never missed a game or any of his children’s events. He also spent lots of special time with his daughter Lisa in which they built a beautiful bond that could never be broken. His love for Elvis music was a staple in our family through the years.

His time spent with his grandchildren was also most enjoyable to him, he loved taking them out and going for walks and teaching them along the way, allowing them to be kids and have fun. Seeing his grandkids happy was always important to him, he also enjoyed his many phone conversations.

Another passion was his love for animals and his many Alaskan Malamutes/Husky dogs and cats he had through his life, his last cherished ones being Shiloh and Kitty.

We all thank him from the bottom of our hearts for giving us so much and leaving us with memories that we will forever cherish.  We are so grateful that we had him as our husband, father, and grandfather.

Arrangements entrusted with  W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL

We all love you very much and you will be sorely missed.

Until we meet again…. xoxo.
