Peacefully at home, Gwen passed away on Friday February 4th, 2022, in her 102nd year.
Born on Annis Street in Cedar Dale, ON, lifelong resident of Oshawa.
Daughter of the late Frederick and Maude Hayward.
Beloved wife of the late George Hartwick.
Loving mother of Doug Hartwick (Jayne) and of the late Joan Spooner (Melvin).
Adored Nana Banana of Jason Spooner (Michelle), Tim Spooner (Sarah), Ashley Hartwick (Chris), Scott Hartwick (Alexis) and Brittany O'Hara (Matt); cherished Great-grandmother of A.J., Hayden, Mavrick, Kiara, Eastin, Kaycee, Charli, Jack, Isabella and Evelyn.
Predeceased by her siblings Frank Hayward, Ivy Jeffrey, Fred Hayward, Vera Patfield, sister-in-law and best friend Grace Hayward and survived by sister-in-law Evelyn Park.
Special Aunt and friend to the late Mary Tilk and Donna Wassell and dearly missed by her many other Nieces and Nephews.
