Danson JosephDANSON, Joseph William “Bill”  -  April 24th, 1952 - March 6th, 2022

It is with profound sadness we announce Bill’s passing on Sunday March 6, 2022.

He leaves behind is love, his wife Brenda (nee Iles, Trebilcock). 

Mourning his loss are his children Jason Trebilcock (Leanne), Becki Craggs (Matt), Colin Danson (Sherry), Joshua Danson (Amanda Collier) and Nathaniel Danson (Elizabeth Ranger).

He loved each of his grandchildren David, Kyle, Kenneth, Adam, Anthony, Miguel, Elizabeth, Caleb, Samantha, Jayne, Drake, Evan, William, Kane, Octavia, Blake and his great grandchildren Philip, Emberlyn and Heather.

Loved brother of Gordon Danson (Wendy Crocker) of St. Thomas Ontario. 

Loved cousin of Robert Townsley (Chris) Portland Square, England.

Survived by his mother in law Elizabeth (Betty) Iles of Hamilton. 

Brother in law of Mona & Rick Ward, Nancy & Guy Schiavo, Ralph Iles Jr. and Karen Iles.

He is predeceased by his parents Colin & Jean Danson of Workington, Cumbria, England, step daughter Laura Trebilcock Mehlenbacher, and father in law Ralph Iles Sr.

Bill will be mourned by his close friends Keith and Colette Morris and his loved buddy Scott Harrison.

Bill worked as a Tool and Die Maker at GM for many years.

Donations in memory of Bill can be made to one of the following Ontario Heart & Stroke Fund, Diabetes Canada or Northview Meadow Co-Op homes Event Committee.

Through Trillium, Bill donated his eyes and other organs to help others.  He encouraged everyone to do the same.

Visitation will be held at  ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Saturday March 19th from 1pm to 3pm. 

The complete Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at Armstrong’s, following the visitation,  at 3pm. 

Cremation will take place.
