SAUVE, Rene Laurier - (November 22nd, 1924 - March 16th, 2022)
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 16, 2022, surrounded by his family, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
Rene, in his 98th year, was predeceased by his beloved wife Anna in 1999.
Loving father of Karen Furgiuele (Robert Percy) and John Sauve (Pat).
Cherished grandpa to Matthew, Lauren (Reid), Kristen (Cam) and Jenna (Mark). Loved Great Grandpa of Leighton.
Predeceased by his siblings Irene, Estelle, Rita, John & Claudette.
Dear brother in law to Helen, Eleanor, Elizabeth & Joseph.
Rene will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, and by his many friends, especially Vi Albrecht.
Proud member of the Knights of Columbus-St. Jude, Fourth Degree Knight.
Visitation will be held on Monday March 21st from 4pm to 8pm at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with Mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Tuesday March 22nd at 11am. Mass will be celebrated by his grandson Fr. Matthew Furgiuele.
Interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery to follow.
