KORNYLO, Peter - June 23, 1931 – April 25, 2022
With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Peter on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Hillsdale Terraces in his 91st year, with family by his side.
Peter was a devoted husband to his late wife Olga (2008).
Predeceased by his loving parents John and Pearl, sister Viola (George) Ballan, brother Mike (Esme) and sister Rose (Frank) Czop. Much loved brother of Dan (Edna) and Bill (Bonnie).
Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Sincere and heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful, compassionate and dedicated caregivers on Cedar Heights, who made Peter’s stay very comfortable to the end.
We are forever grateful.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 12 – 1 p.m. at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m.Interment St. Wolodymyr & St. Olha Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the R.S. McLaughlin Cancer Centre.
