NNA, Donald Edmund - (June 14, 1939 – May 19, 2022)
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Donald Edmund Glionna, in his 83rd year.
Peacefully after a courageous, battle with leukemia at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on May 19, 2022 – their 60th wedding anniversary.
Sadly missed by his wife Estelle (nee Riddell), children Mary Catharine (Steve), Gordon (Margaret), Susan (Nick), Brent (Tracey); grandchildren Alyssa, Tyler, Dylan, Paige, Chloe, Nicholas, Darryl, Bret, Troy; siblings Judy (Bernie), Peter (Donna both predeceased), Paul (Jean), Cecile, Neil (predeceased) (Suzanne); sister-in-law Margaret, Norma (predeceased), Linda; his cousins, many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and his many friends.
Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and other team members from the Cancer Unit, our home care nurse Tonia and Dave Pibworth.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME , 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday May 25th from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. GERTRUDE’S CATHOLIC CHURCH (690 King Street E., Oshawa) on Thursday May 26th at (time to be determined - please check back)
