HAMMOND, Stephen (Steve) - Caring father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend; welder, gas fitter, and HVAC technician.
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Steve at his home in Brechin, ON, on May 19th, at the age of 66.
Predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Arthur.
Spouse of Kathy. Loving father of Shawn (Kellie), Keith and Melanie. Cherished grandfather of Iris and Ada.
Beloved younger brother of Jim (Judy), Mike (Chris), Ted and the late David (Deb) and proud uncle.
Steve will be missed by his extended family, friends and pets.
His loved ones will remember him for his love of fishing, camping and tinkering and for always being there when needed. His family will cherish the many fond memories, holidays, family vacations, movie nights, board games, fishing trips, walks with the family dog and more.
Visitation will be held at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street, East (905) 433-4711 on Monday, July 11th from 1 pm till 2 pm.
Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 2 pm.
Donations in Steve’s memory, will be graciously accepted by the foodbank.
