OVENDEN, Gary Warren Ovenden - It is with great sadness that the family of Gary Ovenden, announce his peaceful passing on July 2, 2022 after a short and sudden battle with cancer with his family by his side at 65 years of age.
Gary is survived by Virginia Starr the love of his life of many years.
Loving father of Mistie Dwyer, and her husband Dean, and Brandon Ovenden, and his son Jack.
Proud, and devoted “Papa” of Taylor Bosak.
Best friend to his loyal companion “Buddy”.
Proud son of Helen Simpson, and her husband Tom, Roger Ovenden, and his wife Myrna
Beloved brother of Denise Paulin,and her husband Gregg, Janice O’Brist, and her husband Brian.
After retiring from General Motors after 33 years, he continued working hard landscaping, and making the world a more beautiful place.
He will be sadly missed, and never forgotten by his family and friends.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation, or funeral service
A private cremation has taken place.
If desired a memorial donation may be made to Clarington animal shelter.
Garys love of animals was endless as our love is for him.
