ANDREWS, Ron Andrews - DECEMBER 24, 1936 – JUNE 29, 2022
After a lengthy illness passed away at Lakeridge Health Hospital in Oshawa on June 29th, 2022 at the age of 85 years.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 63 years, Maureen (nee Rawlins), his sons Mike (Laurie) and Craig (Karla), daughter Laura, grandchildren Marcus, Lauren, Ariella and Isiah and brothers Richard (Jennifer) and John (Marion).
After retiring from Lasco Steel he proudly hiked the entire length of the Bruce Trail between Niagara and Tobermory (900 kms). He also loved to golf and play poker with his friends.
He was kind, compassionate, fun loving with a great sense of humour and will be missed by his many friends.
Respecting Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life is planned for August 4th , drop by between 2-4 at the Oshawa Golf Club.
The family would like to thank Dr. Stephen Cohen for his compassion and care over many years.
