BOIVIN, Marcel J. - JULY 29, 1942 – JULY 14, 2022
Suddenly at Lakeridge Health – Oshawa on Thursday, July 14, 2022, fifteen days shy of his 80th birthday.
Beloved husband of the the late Joy Grozelle (42 years) and Loreen Jaggard (5 years).
Predeceased by his parents Pierette and Raymond Boivin.
Survived by his brothers and sisters Denise (Paul), Richard (Dianne), Ted (Wanda), John (Jackie), Lynda (Brian), Alan (Bobbi), Ron, and Mike (Carolyn).
Loving dad of Candy (Jim), Cam (Bonnie), Kerry, Dean (Kim), Don (Kendi) and Sean (Joan).
Cherished Gramps of Shona, Derek, James, Crystal, Joey, Kyle, Alana, Alisha, Dylan and many great grandchildren.
Marcel will be fondly remembered by his friends from the OMHA, his baseball/umpire associates and basketball teammates and his many friends he met thru his travels.
He retired from Canada Post after 28 years of service.
A Graveside Service will be held at Mount Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, July 30th at 1:00 p.m.
Memorial donations to the Humane Society of Durham, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Crohn’s Colitis Foundation or Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
