Connolly SandraCONNOLLY, Sandra Leigh - (August 19h, 1965 - August 21, 2022)

Sandra Leigh Connolly, a vibrant and loving soul, was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who suddenly left this world on August 21, 2022 at the age of 57.

Born to Ralph and Rose Connolly on August 19, 1965 in Summerside, PEI.

The family moved to the Roncesavalles area of Toronto where she developed a zest for life in her formative years.

Sandra's desire for family found her next chapter in Oshawa as a young adult, raising two beautiful daughters whom she loved dearly.

While a true Maritimer by birth she found the east coast spirit in Oshawa where she developed long lasting friendships that became extended family.

You can see the pride and joy in her eyes when she spoke of her "bubbins" (grandson Logan), her two daughters and her cuddly nutcase of a cat Oliver.

Although Sandra battled gastric cancer, it never stopped her from enjoying the simple things in life with her friends and family.

She was predeceased by her parents Ralph and Rose.

She will be dearly missed by her sister Maureen (Sandy), longtime partner Gord, daughters Jaime (Derrick), Jessica (Tom), grandson Logan and her many friends.

Friends are invited to say a final farewell to Sandra at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME , 124 King Street East, Oshawa, on Thursday August 25th at 11am, with visitation from one hour prior to the service in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
