Stainton RuthSTAINTON, Ruth Stainton  -  October 20, 1932 – September 14, 2022

With sadness the family announces the passing of Ruth Stainton at her home on September 14, 2022.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband Jim.

She will be greatly missed by her sons David (Brenda) and Doug (Renee). She was a cherished grandma as well as great grandma.

She is survived by her sister in-law Joyce Shaw, Grace Thomas (late Roy) and Marg Stainton (late Ross). Ruth was predeceased by her siblings Patricia (late Ron), David and also by Keith and Muriel Stainton.

Ruth will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and their families.

Friends such as the Haass family, Donna Stell and the knitting club, swimming ladies have lost a true member of their circle. Many children can swim today - thanks to the swimming lessons that they received from her.

She was a member of Zion United Church and then Kedron United Church.

Special thank you is extended to Sharon (PSW) for her unwavering support for our mother.

A celebration of life will be held on October 20, 2022 at 1:30 pm at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL.

In lieu of flowers donations to Kedron United Church or Parkinson Society Canada will be greatly appreciated.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at  courticefuneralchapel.com .
