ROZNIK, Joseph Michael Roznik - JANUARY 12, 1962 – SEPTEMBER 24, 2022
Age 60, of Oshawa, Ontario passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022.
Joseph was born January 12, 1962.
It is with great sadness we announce Joe passed away at home surrounded and comforted by loved ones.
Beloved son of Joseph (deceased) and Stella Roznik, loving brother of Eric and Nancy (Rob) Gilmour. Wonderful uncle to Michelle and Stephanie Gilmour, and Erin and Evan Roznik (Shelby Boyd).
Joe will be remembered as a passionate athlete. He excelled at playing hockey, ski jumping, basketball and lacrosse.
He also found enjoyment in fishing, golf, billiards and cards.
He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
The family would like to thank Joe’s palliative care team for their compassion and assistance during this difficult time.
A memorial visitation for Joseph will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street East, Oshawa, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joseph's memory may be made to Lakeridge Health Foundation, (Palliative Care).
