TRENTON, Philip Norman Trenton   -  It is with great sadness the family of Philip Trenton announces his passing on Friday, Sept. 23 at the age of 87.

He leaves behind his much-loved sons - who he was immensely proud of - Jason (Crystal) and Dorian (Maude); grandchildren Jesse and Aryane; brother Jim (Inge), sister Dorothy and sister-in-law Linda; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (George), Ryan, Catherine, Gillian, Marcus and Vicki; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Predeceased by his brother Thomas and his step-mother and father, Garifallia and Norman.

Fondly remembered by dear friend and companion Donna, her children Steve (Lorraine) and Melissa (Graydon), and their children Gabby and Max; Phil was a treasured member of their family and they thought of him and loved him as a father and grandfather.

Phil enjoyed a long career as a chartered accountant with the Ministry of Finance tax office in Oshawa. He was a long-time member of the Whitby Yacht Club and Ajax Art Club, and also enjoyed writing poetry and plays, composing music, discussing philosophy and politics.

Gone...but never forgotten.

At Phil's request, cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life will be held at the Whitby Yacht Club on Friday, Oct. 7 from 1 to 4 p.m. Please join us to remember this generous soul.
