HOPKINS, Jody Mae (nee Kimble) Hopkins - April 28, 1961 - October 6, 2022
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister and Nana on Thursday October 6th.
Jody will be greatly missed by her daughter Leah Hopkins (Jarret Perrin), grandson Dakota, mother Grace Kimble, siblings Judi Baldwin-Kimble, Jim Kimble and Jeff Kimble, along with her nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Jody grew up and schooled in Fenelon Falls, ON and graduated from the College of Nurses of Ontario in 1987 with her Registered Nurse Certificate.
She was a compassionate health care provider, first at Oshawa General Hospital and then at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, ON before her retirement in 2020.
Jody devoted her life to God, family, and her pets and will be remembered always as the kind, loving, thoughtful woman she was.
Funeral Arrangements with the Mount Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, Whitby. A private interment at Verulam Cemetery in Bobcaygeon will be taken place at a later date.
Although there is a huge void in our lives, we rejoice knowing she loved God and rests in his loving arms and care.
In lieu of flowers, donations for the Barn Cat Co-op of Uxbridge or Durham Human Society would be respectfully accepted.
