GIBBS, Ellenor ‘Joanne’ - February 6, 1936 - November 1, 2022
Passed away with family by her side on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Oak Ridges Hospice, at the age of 86.
Beloved wife of Ross for 67 years.
Loving mother of Linda Fruin (Paul) and Susan Battams (Norman Sr.).
Devoted grandmother of Tyler (Leah), Natasha (Yousef), Madison, Dacota, Norman Jr., and Jacob and great-grandmother of Maison and Jayce.
Dear sister of Bill (Lorraine) Watson and sister-in-law of Denton Grant.
Predeceased by her parents Ellen “Helen” & Bill Watson and sister Sylvia “Paddy” Grant.
Joanne will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Special thanks to the PSW’s for their wonderful care and compassion over the years and heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Brown and the staff of Oak Ridges Hospice.
As per Joanne’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oak Ridges Hospice, Port Perry, in her memory.
