Saarinen BrianSAARINEN, Brian James “Chrysler” Saarinen   -   October 17, 1951 - November 17, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Saarinen at Lakeridge Health Ajax on November 17, 2022 at the age of 71.

He will be deeply missed by his daughters Lindsey (William Cooper), Shannon (John Daciuk) and his sweet granddaughter Claire Cooper.

Predeceased by his parents Jack and Bea Saarinen.

Survived by his brother Gordon Saarinen and sister in law Blanche (Micki) Saarinen.

Brian will be fondly remembered by his nieces Katherine Regan (Brock), Jannine Saarinen (John), and Laura McNeil (Ray).

Brian was born in Kentville Nova Scotia and was always proud to say he was from the Annapolis Valley.

He moved to Oshawa as a young boy where he built strong friendships with many people within the community.

He retired from the Chrysler Ajax Trim Plant after 30 years of service.

Anyone that knew Brian, knew his love for the Boston Bruins, sitting on his front porch listening to music, and cooking. He will be dearly missed by the loving community that always looked out for him.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa).

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion.

Online condolences may be shared at  armstrongfh.ca .
