MALONELawrence "Larry" Clifford Walter Malone
1941 - 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Lawrence “Larry” Clifford Walter Malone on April 2nd, 2023 at the young age of 81.

Cherished husband to Marilyn for 37 years. Loving father to Michael, Michelle, Stephen, Jeff (Irene) and the late Mark. Dear Grandfather to his many grandchildren.

Beloved brother to Doug and Beverley. Cherished uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Larry will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or Diabetes Canada in memory of Larry would be appreciated.

Larry was always living large and it was never a dull moment with him. Especially when it came to his cat Shannon whom he loved very much.

Lots of cuddles, heating up her food and even making sure she was squeaky clean with a bath! He always had a great sense of humour.

Cracking jokes with the family and adopting the name Big Lar. He loved old movies on the Turner Classic Movie channel and enjoyed watching certain sports as well. Not only did he watch but he was a well-rounded athlete himself.

He played hockey up until his 40’s then began playing tennis, golf, fishing and bowling. We also owe Larry a thank you for keeping his neighbourhood clean of the ads that would be left in the mailboxes.

Arrangements with McEachnie Funeral Home.

Larry was a charmer, very social and had such a unique soul which we wouldn’t have changed it for the world. We will miss and love you so much Larry!
