MCNEILL, Courtice - Jannette McNeill  -  80, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on June 1, 2023.

She was born December 19, 1942, in Kirkaldy, Scotland, the daughter of Edward and Janet (Blyth) Page.

Jannette immigrated to Canada with her husband and two infant children on May 10, 1969, seeking a better life.

Jannette had been trained as a hairdresser in Scotland but chose to stay home with her children until the youngest could care for themselves. She re-entered the workforce and worked her way up to a claim adjuster.

Jannette retired in her early 50s and turned to her many passions, including golfing, travelling, knitting and entertaining her family.

In addition to her parents, Jannette was predeceased by her husband/soulmate, Robert McNeill.

Jannette is survived by her children Ewan (Stacey), Alistair (Brenda), and Fiona (Andrew), brother Jack (Jody), grandchildren Brenden, Spencer, Aine, Cole, Madison, Sabrina, Angelo, Liam, Tristin and nephews Andrew, Michael and Christopher.

A small private service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, to inter Jannette. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date in the fall.

In place of flowers, donations can be made to Covenant House on her behalf.
