Evelyn “Bubs” Harris (nee Hollingsworth) passed away peacefully on November 15, 2017 at her home in Brooklin, Ontario while surrounded by her family.
She was the beloved wife of Raymond Harris, and loving mother to Andrew, Nicky and Matthew (Kevin).
She will be fondly remembered by her siblings Terry (Cathy) and Marion (Colin), her grandchildren Skye, Niall, Ada and Nate, Skye’s mother Alisa, and all of her extended family in Canada and England.
Evelyn was predeceased by her sisters Maureen and Brenda, and her daughter Suzie.
Evelyn loved drinking tea, watching science fiction shows and snacking on orange-flavoured Tic Tacs. Sharp-minded, she always knew who the murderer was in a mystery film. All of her friends and family appreciated how ready she was to speak her mind and to tell a joke. Most importantly, she will be remembered for her deep commitment and care for her family.
A memorial service will be held at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY at 2:30 pm on December 1st, 2017, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association (https://lungontario.ca/) would be appreciated.
