Passed away peacefully at Fairview Lodge on December 29th, 2017 at the age of 98.
Born January 2nd, 1919 in Belsito, Italy.
Beloved wife of the late Ettore Serra (May 5th, 1992). Mother of Domenico (Marisa), Mario (January 5th, 2015), Frank (Teresa), and Maria (Dominic).
Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Nonna will be remembered for her love of storytelling, cooking and taking care of everyone.
So many people affectionately called her “Granny” because of her kind heart and friendly nature.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME , 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, January 4th from 4 – 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST PARISH (903 Giffard St., Whitby) on Friday, January 5th at 10:30 a.m. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
