FREW, Donald  - After a brief illness, on Thursday, January 4th, 2018 at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, at age 92.

Don Frew of Nestleton, beloved husband and best friend for 72 years to Norma (nee Burrage).

Loving father of David Frew and his wife Leah of Nestleton, Nancy and her husband Gary Edgar of Port Perry, Valerie and her husband Ernest Ellis of Blackstock, Alan Frew and his wife Judith of Nestleton, and Virginia Frew and her friend Marvin Esson of Peterborough.

He will be missed by his grandchildren Dwayne Frew (Carla), Andrew Frew (Tara), Richard Frew (Susan), Erin Linquist (Darryl), Ryan Edgar (Yannick), Andrea Jackson, Tanya Lowe (Jamie), Troy Mappin (Tara), Diane Frew (Neil), Ilene Frew, Ella Clarke, and Manny Frew Clarke; his 18 great grandchildren and his 2 great great granddaughters.

Dear brother of Mac Frew (deceased) and his wife Lucy, William Frew (deceased) and his wife Em (deceased), Joyce and her husband Tom Darnbrook (deceased), Gordon Frew and his wife Marie, Donna and her husband Robert Hamilton, Eleanor and her husband Wallace Kennedy, and Bonnie and her husband Kurt Eser.

Don was born in the farming community of Norwich, Ontario to his late parents Jack and Kathleen Frew. A lifelong farmer he met and married the love of his life Norma Burrage and their life journey eventually brought them, with their children, to settle in the Nestleton area.

The family of Donald Frew will receive friends at the Wagg Funeral Home, Port Perry, on Wednesday, January 10th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Masonic Service will be held at 6:45 p.m.

A Service to Celebrate his life will be held in the Port Perry United Church, 294 Queen Street, on Thursday, January 11th at 1:30 p.m. Interment Nestleton United Church Cemetery in the Spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation or the CHARITY of your choice.
