SLANEY, Lawrence Sr. - (Feb. 7th, 1931 – Jan. 14th, 2018)
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, January 14th, 2018 at the age of 86.
Beloved husband of Anne of 55 years.
Father of the late Larry (Donna), Christine, Sheila (Mike), Patrick (Veronica), Donna (Rob) and Terry. Grandpa/Poppy to 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Brother to Leo, Adrian, Michael, Isaac and Mildred. Predeceased by his siblings, Theresa, Josephine, Michael, his parents Michael and Theresa and loving pet Mickey.
A special thank you to the staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for going over and above to make his stay as comfortable and peaceful as possible.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, January 18th from 7 – 9 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, January 19that 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
