MacDONALD, Rita A. - Peacefully passed away at Nesbit Lodge, Toronto on Monday January 15, 2018.
Formerly of Pictou, NS, Rita was born in Woodstock, NB on September 11, 1925 to the late Finlay J. & Mary Ellen (Montague) Beaton.
Rita was predeceased by her husband John "Kink" MacDonald.
Rita is survived by three sons, Keith (Kathleen) of Saint John, Alan (Jenny) of Orono and Kevin (Karen) of Saint John, a daughter Lynn (Norman) Donaldson of Toronto and her sister Florence Chasse of Naples, Florida.
She is dearly loved by her grandchildren Chris (Meredith), Kelly (Trevor), Heather (David), Sarah (Chris), Lauren, Kyla (John), Forest (Leanne), Landan, Karla & Benjamin, her great-grandchildren Sophia, Rachel, Michael, Oliver, Billie, Olivia, Jamison, Charlee, Willow, Silas & Tianna.
Rita was predeceased by a sister Gerry Martin, six brothers Donald, Joseph, Arthur “Angus”, Jack and twins Alex and Alan and by a granddaughter Shauna MacDonald.
Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N., on Saturday January 20th from 1 – 2 pm.
A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 2 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
