CROSS, Hazel Viola (nee Roberts) - After a lengthy illness, Hazel passed peacefully surrounded by love at Glenhill Strathaven Long Term Care on Sunday January 14, 2018 in her 93rd year.
Beloved wife of Dale for 70 years.
Loving mother of Sandy (John) Blake, Jerry Cross, Donna Cross and Terry Cross (Heather Andrews).
Adored Nanny of Jason, Michael, Angie, Robert & Hayden. Great-grandma of Soloman, Lila, Henry, Dawit, Blake, Amara, Josie, Robel, Meagan and Rachel.
Dear sister of Mary Peddle, Bertha Coates, John Roberts, Matilda McCarthy, Vernie Turberfield and Ethel Allen. Hazel was predeceased by her brother Joe Roberts.
She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at Pioneer Homes, 1250 King Street East, Oshawa.
