DAVIS, Shirley Marie (nee Elson) - It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Shirley Davis on Thursday, January 18th, 2018 in her 81st year.
Shirley was at her home surrounded by her family with Mervyn in her thoughts.
Shirley is predeceased by her husband and soul mate Mervyn. Loving mother to Sherry (Ben), Pam (Geri), Kevin (Loralee), Toad (Todd), Darryl (Rhonda), & Melis (Dave). Beloved Gramma of Jamie (Courtney), Kelvin, Tammy, Josh (Kailey), Tyson (Courtney), Tyler (Nicole), Ash (Chris), Dee (Craig), Trevor (Kyli), Tiff (Kyle), Derek (Lauren), Kendall , Emmy, Matty, Dustin, Kar, Meg, Braedyn & predeceased by Tarea. Proud Great- Gramma of Caydence, McKenna, Logan, Colton, Kinsley, Gabby, Hudson, Kash, Lukas, Jameson, Callie, Axel and Baby B.
She is survived by her sister Hilda, and brother Casey, predeceased by sisters, Margaret, Eva, Jeannie, Florence; brothers Bill, Norm, Gordie, Lloyd and her parents Winnifred and Harvey.
Shirley is also survived by sister in-law LuluBelle. Shirley will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
Thank you to Dr. Hajra and Dr. Jensen for all the care and compassion they have given to Mom throughout this courageous battle with cancer. Thank you also to all the staff and nurses at the Markham Chemo Clinic; you are a wonderful, caring and compassionate team with honourable mentions to Caroline and Lindsay. To Vera, you are our at home saviour and will always be in Mom’s thoughts.
In accordance with Shirley’s wishes, cremation has taken place and an immediate family grave side service will take place at a later date.
