Youngest son of Edith Maude and John William Carr 1st (deceased), Toronto, ON. Brother of Franklin Walsh (June) from Michigan, USA and pre-deceased Mary Dobbs (Tom), Carl, George and Josephine of Toronto, ON.

Loving Grandfather to grandchildren Aaron (Crystal), Sarah and Julianna (Rod), Patrick (Sergio), Caitlin (Darren), and Emilie (Mike) and great-grandchildren Ryan and Zachary, Abel and Benjamin, Jake and Rylee. Lovingly remembered by sister-in laws Janice (Peter, deceased), Judy (Bob, deceased), and Gerry. Retired from General Motors of Canada since 1986, Jack was a quiet man who loved music from every country and era, dancing, woodworking, nature and its deer, birds, foxes, cooking, travel, photography, stained glass, and wine-making. He was a “Jack” of all trades.

A man of few words, he would deliver occasional zingers that brought you down with laughter. He loved his family and bride deeply. They spent over 20 years at their home in the woods on Benoir Lake in Harcourt, ON where they shared wonderful times with curling friends and neighbours.

Special thank you to all the staff at Pleasant Meadow Manor for their loving care and compassion for our family - you are the best.
