Guthrie MaryGUTHRIE, Mary Grace (nee Batty)  - Passed away peacefully on Monday March 26th, 2018 at the age of 96. Predeceased by her husband Bert Guthrie (1994)

Much loved mother of Anne Robinson and her husband Terry of Harley ON, Harold Guthrie and his wife Mary Lynn of Whitby.

Pre-deceased by her daughter Eileen Waltham and son-in-law Len.

Pre-deceased by her sister Eleanor MacKenzie and her brother Bob. Survived by her sister Ruth Thompson of Dwight and her brother Jim Batty of Lindsay (formerly of Brooklin)

Cherished Grandmother of Len and Karen Waltham, Deborah LaPointe, David and Catherine Waltham, Mike and Jean Welton, Scott and Chantal Robinson and Kevin and Teresa Bowers and 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.

Grace will be fondly remembered by special friends Anna and Joe. A sincere thank you to the staff at Orchard Villa for the care and compassion shown to not only Grace but her family.

Visitation at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Thursday March 29th from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Funeral Service in the Barnes Chapel Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.

Grace will be laid to rest beside her husband at GROVESIDE CEMETERY, Brooklin.

Members of the Order of the Eastern Star #248 are asked to assemble at the funeral home Thursday evening at 6:30 for service. In memory of Grace, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a CHARITY of your choice.
