FLEMING, Stuart - (1947 - 2018) - Passed away at home surrounded by his family, in his 71st year, on Tuesday, April 24th, 2018.
Beloved husband to Teresa for 48 years. Proud and loving father to two sons, Sam and his spouse Deslee and Keith and his spouse Erin. Granddad to Kate, Jack, Max, Kieran and Shea who he loved dearly.
Stuart will be missed in England by his sisters Joyce, Jean and brother Brian.
Stuart’s career as an electrician for various branches of Hydro took him all over Ontario for work. He had some keen hobbies; foremost was a love of music with a 20 year membership in The Toronto Welsh Male Voice Choir where he enjoyed the friendships, concerts and tours.
Stuart also loved collecting stamps and continued this interest up to time of passing. He was also a great teacher to Sam and Keith in many activities and sports. The three of them enjoyed going out together for snooker games up to a few weeks before his passing.
Thanks to the caring nurses from ParaMed and Bayshore that assisted the family to keep Stuart at home.
A celebration of Stuart’s life will be held on May 6th, from 3 - 6pm at The Hops Bar, Whitby, upper level.
In lieu of cards and flowers a contribution to The Canadian Mesothelioma Foundation would be preferred. Arrangements entrusted with Fallis & Shields funeral home, Millbrook.
