FUREY, Jeff D. - Peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a courageous two and half year battle with cancer, lost his hard fought battle at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on Friday, May 11th, 2018, at the age of 47 years.
Proud father of Taylor (Liam) and Jake (Hailey).
Cherished son of Sue and Barry Furey. Dear grandson of Margaret Hart. Survived by his brother Kevin (Pam), and nephew Justin.
Will be sadly missed by his loving friend Natalie Colbourne and her two daughters Brooklyn and Amanda.
Will be fondly remembered by Lisa Goodes - Furey. Will be missed by all his family, friends and especially his fury friend Koda.
His family would like to thank the staff at the Princess Margaret Hospital Cancer Centre; Dr. Irish, Dr. Gilbert and Dr. Sullivan.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Thursday, May 17th from 6 – 8 p.m. and on Friday, May 18th from 12:00 noon until time of Celebration of Life in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. As per Jeff's request, please dress casual.
Donations may be made in memory of Jeff to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Princess Margaret Hospital Head and Neck Cancer Division.
