MCKNIGHT, Garfield Samuel - (World War II Veteran)
Passed away peacefully at the Craiglee Nursing Home in Scarborough on Friday, May 25th, 2018 in his 101st year.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Doris (nee Bird).
Loving father of Gus, Sharon McKean, Lynda Patterson and Joanne Dunn (late Ron).
Cherished grandfather of Grant, Jason, Angela, Cheryl Ann, Michelle, Lisa, Todd (Kelly), Melody, TJ, Nicholas and Abby. Garfield was one of seven male siblings.
Garfield was a 35-year resident of Parkview Place until his brief stay at Craiglee Nursing Home. Thank you for his care and support.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, May 29th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a CHARITY of choice.
