SHINTON, Abraham Henry “Harry” - It is with heavy hearts the Shinton family announce the peaceful passing of their devoted and loving husband and father, at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Thursday, July 5, 2018 in his 99th year.
Beloved husband of Stella for one month shy of 75 years. Loving father of Carol Runciman, Denise Cable, Alan Shinton, Greg Shinton and Barry Shinton.
Cherished grandfather to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Harry was a WWII Veteran and worked his entire life with the TTC as a Superintendent.
A private family service was held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, after which Harry was laid to rest at the Uxbridge Cemetery.
If desired, donations in memory of Harry may be made to the Canadian Veterans Association.
