OHara PatO'HARA, Pat  - (January, 27, 1946 - July 22, 2018)

Her body may have been stolen by cancer, but it never took her spirit.

Surrounded by her family on July 22, 2018 at the age of 72. Pat passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.

Beloved wife, soulmate and designated driver to her husband Ken.

Mother, mentor and friend to her daughters Kelly (Don) and Kim (available!)

Biggest fan and very proud grandmother Kylee.

She had endless laughs & adventures with her best friends (her sisters) Irene Brady and Bunny (Michael) Lockett.

She was loved unconditionally by her brothers Bob (Diane) Wood and Ken (Vickie) Wood and has now been reunited with her sisters Kathy Buchowski and Beverly Griffith. To many nieces & nephews, she was the “favourite aunt” who gave the best hugs.

Your Moving Depot customers and staff will miss her larger than life appearances with jokes and snacks. Giant Tiger and Bible Missions will miss one of their regular (and most fierce) bargain hunters. Her years of working at The Bay served as a training ground for her shopping passion – a passion that was rivalled by her desire to help.

A faithful volunteer at the Bowmanville hospital, Pat used her natural talent with people to offer comfort and to give whatever she could. She could (and did) talk to everyone and made everyone feel like an old friend.

Pat was an extremely happy person and wherever she is you know there will be plenty of dancing, a ton of jokes and laughter that never ends.

Heaven has gained an angel, Earth has lost a gem and we have all become richer for having known and loved Patricia O’Hara.

A visitation will take place at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY on Wednesday July 25th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and on Thursday July 26th from 1:30 - 2:30 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life service in the chapel at 2:30 p.m.

Cremation.  Reception to follow.
