In the 8 months Joey battled cancer, he never gave up and insisted “I got this."

Joey is the beloved husband of Cheryl (nee Mulé), loving father of Katrina and Jack, cherished brother of Mary Jo Heeney (Mike), Michael (Kathleen), and Stephen (Laura), and loved son-in-law of Charles and Ethel Mulé.

Joey will be dearly missed by all his nieces, nephews and many friends.

Nielsen PaulNIELSEN, Paul Sabro - (January 2, 1927 – August 8, 2019) - Paul passed away peacefully on August 8, 2019 in his 93rd year, surrounded by his family members at his cherished lakeside home in Acton, Ontario.

Paul was born January 2, 1927, in Fredericia, Denmark, the seventh of nine children. He graduated from commercial school in 1945, and immigrated to Canada in 1951. Paul initially settled in Georgetown, Ontario where he became the proud father of three children (Mark, Lynn and Kent), and later grandfather of five (Erik, Taylor, Kevin, Andrea, Karen) and great-grandfather of two (Kaia, Ella).

Paul opened a clothing store in nearby Acton and relocated there with his family in 1960.

Whey RyanWHEY, Ryan Raymond - (August 9, 1995 - August 7, 2019) - Ryan sadly passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday August 7, 2019.

Survived by his loving parents, Caroline and Lloyd, brother Chris and sister Jacklyn.

Ryan was a free spirit with a passion for the outdoors. He seeked out adventure whenever possible. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking and traveling to Newfoundland to visit family and friends.

Cherished son of Fred (predeceased) and Nancy Stewart, twin brother of April Stewart. Loving Uncle of Nicole, Mike and Logan.

Endeared son-in-law of Lyn (predeceased) and Rodger Fountain (Marilyn), brother-in-law of Deanna (Mike) and loving Uncle to Abbey. Trevor was a loyal employee of Battlefield Equipment Rentals in Burlington.

BLUMENAUER, George Henry - (October 13, 1921 – August 6, 2019) - Peacefully in his sleep at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

Born in Nelson, B.C., the son of a CPR Station Master, his early life was spent up and down the Kootenays until finishing High School in Cranbrook. He went on to UBC to obtain a BASc in mechanical engineering. After war-time service as an engineer officer (RCEME) he joined the Otis Elevator Company, obtained an MBA from Harvard, and went on to become President and Chairman.

His other accomplishments in finance and industry included directorships of the Royal Bank of Canada, Dominion Foundries and Steel Company (DOFASCO), Union Gas, Mutual Life of Canada and Hudson’s Bay Oil and Gas.
