SMITH, Edward "Ted" - May 6, 1925 – January 7, 2022
Very sadly, Ted passed away peacefully at Muskoka Shores, in Gravenhurst, on January 7, 2022.
Ted was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Joyce Anne, his son Ron, and four of his siblings: Allan, Ken, David, and Evelyn.
He is survived by his sister Marjorie Cairns, three sons: Bruce, Brian and, Peter and his grandchildren: Meghan, Kevin, Jennifer, Sarah, Daniel, and Juan Diego.
Ted worked at Canada Packers for 39 years, after graduating from University of Toronto, in 1947 with a BASc in Chemical Engineering. He retired, in October of 1986, as a Vice-President and Director at Canada Packers.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held later this spring, to honour Ted and Joyce as they will be reunited with their son Ron, in the family plot, in Gravenhurst, ON.
