COSSITT, Augustus Bert - Passed away peacefully, at Tall Pines Long Term Care Centre, Brampton, on Monday, June 27, 2022, at the age of 95.
Beloved husband of Evelyn. Dear father of Edna (Ian) McNair.
Cherished papa to Michelle (Mike), Jaclyn (Greg) and Christie (Andrew).
He will be missed by his great-grandchildren, Logan, Ethan, Jaime, Colby, Owen and Ruby.
In Sydney, Gus is survived by his sisters, Sarah MacLean, Louise MacLennan, Marina Anderson, Virginia Chdzenko and Myrtle (Allan) Matheson.
Gus was predeceased by his sister, Alta; and brothers, George and Eoin.
Gus loved sports - he was active in baseball and hockey in his youth. He loved skeet shooting and could always be found at the range.
His sparkling blue eyes and his smile will be missed.
The family would like to thank the staff at Tall Pines Long Term Care for all care and support shown to Gus.
A Private Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
