PORTER, William - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Porter, on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
His memory will be forever cherished by his children, Tamara (Patrick), Nancy-Deane and Rusty; and his five grandchildren, Ryan, Marina, Darcy, Hannah and Christian, who where his greatest joy.
His brother, Fred (Carolyne) and children, Melissa (Terry), Brad and Brian (Bonnie) and his east coast Hunter family, have been an integral part of his life, and he cherished the many wonderful memories with them and the friends he held so dear.
He is now reunited with the love of his life, Kathy, whom he has missed since 2016.
Born in Alberta, Bill won the Governor General's Award in high school, graduated from University of Alberta with a P.Eng. and later his MBA from University of Toronto.
Bill was best known for his sense of adventure and enjoying life.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Neweduk Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga, on Thursday, July 7th, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Funeral service to be held in the Chapel on Friday, July 8th, at 11:00 a.m.
