PARÉ, Mary (nee FIETSCH) - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mary Pare, (née Mary Louise Fietsch), on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the age of 81.
She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband, John, of 58 years, son, Steven (Lina) and daughter, Susan (Sergei Drobner) both of Oakville.
She will also be sorely missed by her four grandchildren, Julia, Michael, David and Sarah.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, Oscar and Bertha and sister, Carol Anne and brothers-in-law, Ed (Penny) and Lou and survived by sister-in-law, Marilyn.
Mary worked in the Operating Room at the "old" Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
She was an avid golfer, making many friends at the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club and at Wyldewood Golf Club.
Visitors will be received at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home, Oakville, for Visitation on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Thursday, July 7th, at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
Special thanks to the staff of the Chartwell Waterford Long Term Care facility who took such good care of Mary for the past 6½ years.
