COURTNEY, Dawna Marie (nee WEAVER) - February 6, 1942 - November 30, 2022
The family of Dawna Marie Courtney (née Weaver) is very sad to share the news of her passing earlier this week.
Married for over 44 years, she is beloved and missed by her husband, Don.
Step-mother to Michael (Diane), Susanne (Kevin) and Diane (Chris).
Adored by her grandchildren, Ashley (Thom), Colin (Jess), Aidan, Ben (Ella), Emma, Hannah (Dale) and Megan.
She was an adoring great-grandmother to Rhonan and Félix. Sadly missed by her sister, Dianna (Elliot); and nephew, Nate; and her brothers, David (Karen) and Tom (Cathy).
In 1964, Dawna graduated from the Hospital for Sick Children's nursing program where she made lifelong friends. She was an accomplished artist, equestrian and gracious hostess of many unforgettable family and social gatherings at their beautiful homes in Caledon East.
She leaves us all, family and friends, with many happy memories.
She will be so missed.
A Celebration of Dawna's Life will take place on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. at Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St. Mississauga.
