GRAVEL, Gaetan R. - February 15, 1936 – December 4, 2022
Passed away peacefully, on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at Amica Unionville, in his 87th year.
Predeceased in 2013, by his loving wife of 56 years, Helene.
Survived by his children, Richard (Aloma), Nicole (Craig), and Anne-Marie. Also by his younger brother, Serge. After a brief stint in the communications field, Dad had a long and successful career in finance and banking.
Dad enjoyed watching sports, but his love of golf was evident throughout his life.
As a former golf member of the Donalda Club, he often placed at the top of his category. He also enjoyed making his own golf clubs, and for a brief period made his own wine, much to mom's delight.
He and mom enjoyed regular trips down to Destin and Myrtle Beach, with a few detours to the island of Barbados.
Dad was a quiet, reflective, observant, well organized person, and always an impeccable dresser.
A Celebration of Mr. Gravel's Life will be held at The Highland Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel, on Monday, January 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with a time of fellowship and refreshment to follow in the Sheppard Lounge of the funeral home.
