JACKSON, Beverley June (nee CAIRNS) - It is with profound sadness that the family announce the passing of Bev Jackson, on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, due to complications following surgery.
Bev, at the age of 91, was the beloved wife of Murray for 70 wonderful years.
Predeceased by her parents, Edith and Andy Cairns; daughter, Karen Jackson; and nephew, Glenn Cairns.
Cherished mom to Deborah Matthews (the late Paul), Janice Jackson and Sheryl Jackson. Loving "Nana" to Tiffany Matthews.
Dear sister to Grant Cairns (Judy).
Bev will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews, Andrew (Laura), Heather (Kevin), Beth (Scott), Dianne (Lonnie) and Greg (Sherri); and by her many close friends in the Lindsay area.
Bev was an accomplished interior designer, who had a passion for travel, cooking, painting, gardening, folk art, and her family.
Visitation will take place at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay, on Tuesday, June 6th, from 1:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow on Wednesday, June 7th, at 1:00 p.m. in Toronto.
The family would like to thank the 3rd floor medical nursing staff at the Ross Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care.
