It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of James (Jim) William Abernethy, after a hard-fought battle with Lymphoma.
He passed peacefully and surrounded by family.
Jim was loving husband to Cathie; proud father to Jillian, Nicole and Sydney; brother to Janice and Rob (Cynthia); son of Bill and Sue Abernethy; uncle to Madison and Justin Abernethy and James and Alec Baxter; brother-in-law to John and Paul Baxter (Alice Chin); and son-in-law to Virginia Baxter and the late James Baxter.

TAYLOR, Robert F., C.D., - Robert, (known to friends as Bob) passed away on December 5, 2019 at the Sunnybrook Veterans' Centre, with his two children by his side.
Predeceased by his beloved wife of fifty-six years, Aletha Boyd.
Loving father of Jennifer (Paul) and Cameron (Lisa), grandfather of Luke Taylor (Kait) and Madeline and Thomas Stapleton.
Bob joined the 48th Highlanders in 1947 and served in the Regimental Pipes & Drums for a total of sixty-two years (including volunteer service) retiring with the rank of Warrant Officer.

BROWN, Edward Earle - Edward Brown passed away at Royal Victoria Hospital on December 5, 2019.
Missed by his Belle Ewart family, Jeanette, Jamie, Cheryl and his Toronto family, Carol, John (Shobie), Mark, Pennie, Edward (Lidia) and Ethel.

LEDSON, Sidney Albert James - April 16, 1925 – December 5, 2019
Sidney Ledson was an accomplished musician, artist, writer, and educator, best known for his books Teach Your Child to Read in 60 Days and Raising Brighter Children, and his eponymous private school.
A lifelong autodidact, his professional focus on early learning reflected his belief that teaching preschoolers to read increases their intelligence.

NETTEN, Edward 'Ted' William - (October 17, 1930 – December 4, 2019) - It is with great sadness that the family of Edward (Ted) Netten shares the news of his passing on Wednesday, December 4th, 2019.
Ted sprang into life on October 17, 1930, in Curling, Newfoundland and remained a proud and passionate champion of that great land. He always delighted in a good Newfie joke and, although a natural introvert, would engage enthusiastically with any fellow Newfoundlander he came across.
Ted moved to St. Lambert, Quebec as a young boy and went on to develop a life-long interest in tennis, skiing, bridge and travel. He received a B. Comm. magna cum laude from McGill University in 1951. He obtained his C.A. designation in 1953, receiving the Governor-General’s gold medal for highest standing ever achieved in Canada. He was Managing Partner of Price Waterhouse Consulting, Canada from 1981 until his retirement.

FLORES, Rigoberto - Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on December 4, 2019 with his daughter Linda by his side.
Rigoberto will be sadly missed by his children Linda, Anna Cecilia and Mayra Jacqueline (Victor), as well as his grandchildren Brian, Arianna, Julia and Jacqueline.

FAWEHINMI, Jimmy Daramola - Oluwafolajimi Daramola Fawehinmi, age 41, passed away on Wednesday, December 4th, 2019 in Toronto General Hospital in Canada.
He was born June 18th, 1978 in Kano to Mr. Cosmos Olawanle Fawehinmi and Mrs. Abidemi Adijat Fawehinmi. He was born into a lovely family of 5 girls and 9 boys.
He went to Ijeoma Memorial Group School, Kano and Salau Abiola secondary school in Abeokuta, he later went to University of Ile-Ife for his degree.
He lived in Lagos for sometimes and later moved to Ibadan where he met his wife Mrs Adenike Fawehinmi and they got married. He is survived by a wife and three lovely children (Zara, Jotham and Kayla).

Daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Troke) Fennell, formerly of Whitney Pier.
She was predeceased by sisters Leona MacDonald and Joyce Avent (Chris).
Her surviving siblings are sisters Constance Hope (New York), Mary McCloskey (Vermont), Margaret and Theresa Fennell (Toronto) and brothers Ron and Mike (Lorraine) of Nova Scotia and Tom (Tina) of Newfoundland.

LOKKER, John - October 13,1943 - December 4, 2019 - With a heavy heart my beloved Teddy passed. We only found out about Cancer 3 weeks ago and it was Stage 4 Melanoma. Extremely aggressive. Too fast and oh so very heartbreaking. John passed peacefully with Marilyn by his side.
Marilyn and John have been together since 1985 and married in 1990.

FOK, Rosaleen 'Rosy' Leong - It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Rosaleen Leong Fok, fondly known as Rosy, on December 4, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Rosy will forever be remembered as a kind, loving, beautiful soul who had an open heart for everyone. All medical professionals she met spoke of her strength, tenacity and resilience throughout her illness.
