She was a devoted and loving wife, a beloved mother and a fabulous nana.
With family by her side, Margaret passed away peacefully at the age of 88, on Sunday, January 6, 2019, in Barrie.

DIXON, Elizabeth Agnes Betty - Passed away peacefully with her family at her side on January 6, 2019 in her 94th year.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Bob, in 2008 and is survived by her children Jamie (Judi), Anne and Jane (Peter) and grandchildren Brian, Michael, Rebecca, Jennifer and Chris.
Betty lived a full life.
Born in Walkerville, Ontario (now part of Windsor) in 1924 to Dr. E.F. and Florence Jamieson, she attended King George Public School and Walkerville Collegiate Institute.

He was a jeweler by trade.

Les lived to the age of 96 and got to enjoy his two grandchildren, Jordan and Evan and see them grow up.

She was born to the late Margaret and Victor Bruce, May 8, 1938 in Fort William, Ontario.
Gerrie moved south to Markham to attend Markham District High School and lived with her older sister Isabelle and her husband Lachlan Cattanach and their children.
Isabelle and Lachlan were like second parents during Gerrie’s teenage years and beyond, and she loved them dearly.

BANKS, Edward - On December 9, 1925, Edward was given life and on January 5, 2019 it was his time to give it back. Peacefully, with his daughter Angela holding his hand and the caring support workers keeping him comfortable.
He moved from this life to be with Joan, his wife of 70 years and family and friends who had gone before. He was the second youngest of eight who will all be waiting for him. His blue eyes will sparkle and his smile will shine brightly as he meets them.
Born in Liverpool, England he experienced the war years and was evacuated, with his younger sister "Betty" to a farm, away from their family. Underaged, he signed up to serve in the Royal Navy in September 1943 until February 1947, keeping many painful memories to himself. He moved on to the Merchant Navy and went around the world.
