DEMMER, Marie Louise Renée (nee de VERTEUIL) - Renée, age 94, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Houses of Providence, Toronto.
Renée was born in 1923 in Gran Couva, Trinidad, the daughter of René and Emma de Verteuil.
Renée lived a full life that began in her beloved home of Trinidad where she grew up in Mayaro with her parents, brothers, sister, many cousins and friends.
She went to England to study nursing and then immigrated to Montreal, Canada where she met her husband, Hans.
She lived in communities across Canada and eventually settled in Toronto where she lived with family for the remainder of her life.

ANDERSON, Andrew Mitchell - It is with great sadness that the family of Andrew Mitchell Anderson known as Mitch or Mickey to friends and family passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Carpenter Hospice surrounded by family following a brief illness.
Mitch was born on June 9, 1935 in Tuberose, Saskatchewan where his father homesteaded over 100 years ago. He was very proud of his farm heritage as it made him who he was.
After attaining an MBA, he went into a career in education.
First as a Dean at Confederation College in Thunder Bay, Ontario and then to the Presidency of Selkirk College in Castlegar, BC. Later he moved back to Ontario where he worked developing training films for various hydro projects around the world.

She shared her passion for the outdoors and her sense of humour with all that she met.

The daughter of Ada and John Matthews of Oshawa, Joan was predeceased by sister Lois Brandt (Robert) and brother John Matthews (Doreen).
She was the cherished aunt of Nancy and Chris Brandt of Oshawa and Robert (Barb) and David (Cory) Matthews of Brooklin.

JOHNSON, Edgar Bruce - Bruce died quietly at home in the early afternoon of November 25, 2017.
He would have been 89 on December 14th.
During the last 2 years of his life he has been cared for a fine group of people, the most remarkable being Tenzin, Sherab, Ngwang and recently Tsering.
Bruce was a uniquely private person who was marvelously skilled, able to design and modify complicated instruments and equipment.

Betty was born March 8, 1927 in Toronto. She graduated from Jarvis Collegiate Institute in 1945.
