GRIFFITHS, Peter Albert  - Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Sunnybrook Veterans (L Wing).

Peter is survived by his 4 children, Peter Jr., Jack, Bill, Deborah (Joe).

Grandfather to 8 and great-grandfather to 8.

Peter was born January 27, 1923 in the small village of Whitecroft in Gloucestershire, England.

Peter was the youngest in his family Peter had 2 sisters, Dorothy, Ida and 4 brothers, Edwin, Keith, Dennis and Robert. The family moved to Birnie, Manitoba in 1926 where the family farmed. Peter completed high school in Neepawa, Manitoba and later to become a flying instructor.

In Peter's retirement he opened THE STORE ANTIQUES on Mt. Pleasant Rd. where his specialty was clocks.

Peter was a favourite uncle to many nieces and nephews who he loved and adored.

He will be sadly missed by his loving sister Dorothy and his dearest friends Peter and Nancy Richardson.

The family would like to thank Sunnybrook Veterans (L) Wing and Dr. Mathews for their expertise and compassionate care for our father for the past 6 years. Special thank you to Margaret Davis.

Donations may be made to Sunnybrook Veterans Centre (L) Wing in Dad's memory.
