While riding with his son in a new sports car on the morning of Tuesday, August 28, 2018, death swept down and snatched away our loving Dad, Robert William McCartney.
His passing came without warning.
He was spared from suffering, a gift for having led such a long and carefully planned life.
He leaves a legacy of success.
His son Kim, a lawyer, his daughter Carol, a Canadian jazz legend and his youngest daughter Coleen, recently retired from a long career as an accountant with Go Transit.
According to his explicit instructions, there will be a graveside service only. He will be laid to rest on the morning of Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario, at 10:30 a.m.
