Hayes NormanHAYES, Norman Howard, (RCAF)  - Howard passed away on August 28, 2018 in the Veterans' Wing of Sunnybrook Hospital.

He was the loving husband of Effie (Clarry) for sixty-nine years and the much-loved father of Kimberley Swigger (Steve), Barbara Pratt (Dave) and Anne Hofland (Darren).

He was adored by his grandchildren Alexandra (Luke), Kellan, Melissa (Larry), Stephanie (James), Renee and April.

He was grandfather to Andy, Mike (Dominique), Julie (Jeremy) and great-grandfather to Katie, Lola, Hayden, Sophie and Charlotte.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 4th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street North, Markham.

A church service will be held on Wednesday, September 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Locust Hill United Church, 7668 Highway 7 East. Interment in Locust Hill United Church Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of KE3 for their care and kindness.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Sunnybrook Veterans' Comfort Fund would be appreciated.
