MESSIH, Rashad - It is with great sadness we mourn the passing of Rashad Messih on September 1, 2018 at the age of 78.
Beloved husband of Nawal and devoted father of Mary (Peter) and Lillian (Jeff).
He will be lovingly remembered as Giddo by his 4 grandchildren Isabelle, Liam, Griffin and Zoe.
Rashad will be deeply missed by family and friends at home in Toronto and further abroad in Egypt, England and the US.
A Prayer Service will be held at St. Mark's Coptic Church, 41 Glendinning Ave., Scarborough from 7 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 12 noon, also at St. Mark's Coptic Church. Interment to follow in Thornhill.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
