TZIAVARAS, Helen - Passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018 in her 81st year.
Devoted wife of George of over 55 years.
Loving mother of Gus, Peter, Sam (Helen) and Georgina (Amedeo). Proud Yiayia of George, William, Damiano and Niki.
Helen came to Canada with her father Panagiotis at the age of 15, she pioneered the way for her family and for all those who followed who need shelter and a warm meal. She was extremely devoted to the Greek Orthodox Faith attending church regularly even in her final days.
She will be fondly remembered for her strong will, the love of her faith, gardening, flowers and baking traditional Greek desserts which she loved to share with all.
Visitation will be held at Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough on Friday from 2-4 & 5-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 115 Bond Street, Toronto on Saturday at 10 am. Interment at Pine Hills Cemetery .
